Pass~Post Skateboards
Pass~Port is an independent Australian skateboard brand founded by Trent Evans in 2009. Based in Sydney, the brand grew out of a desire to give Australian skateboarding its own identity, with graphics, products and videos rooted in the local scene. Trent had experience in graphic design and working in skate shops before starting Pass~Post, and that creative background still shows in the brand today.
The artwork is a big part of what makes Pass~Post recognisable. Its graphics take inspiration from Australian culture, travel, old books, illustration and everyday life, often with a sense of humour and plenty of detail. The brand also puts serious effort into its clothing and skateboard graphics, with a visual style that carries through each collection.
Skate videos have always played an important role in Pass~Post. Early footage was filmed on a Sony VX1000, and the 2017 video Good~Bye VX brought together archive clips from the brand's first years as a tribute to the camera. Later projects such as Kitsch helped introduce the team and its approach to skateboarding to an even wider audience.
Pass~Port has built a strong team around Australian skateboarding, with riders including Callum Paul, Josh Pall, Geoff Campbell and Jack O'Grady. Its collaborations with brands such as Nike SB, Vans and Carhartt WIP have also helped bring its distinct Australian perspective to skaters around the world.
