Kilian about his new pro model 4Msb graffiti kilian zehnder:

about the inspiration for the graphic:

“I’ve been doing graffiti since a young age and always enjoyed doing it. Mostly in the streets, but off course I also draw on the side too, at home, travelling or wherever it feels right. With the sketchbook doing some tags and thowups, constantly improving my style, kinda the same as skateboarding; the more you do it, the better you get.”

About the story behind the picture of the board graphic, the right wall in Barcelona:

"I’ve never seen a graphic like that. Somebody throwing a tag of the brand name and putting it in the middle of the board like that. I'm very stoked and thankful that I was able to design the graphic in my signature style."

“The main thing about this graphic is that extinguisher tag you know. I was just like, I want to throw up a big 4M with the extinguisher at a nice spot. And that spot in Barcelona next to the beach was the perfect location. I also brought with me one of my best friends, with who I've had some of the best graffiti moments over the years and he was able to do the photo. I always loved doing those type of tags, beacause you can reach higher postitions and also love the style with the dripping letters."

About the style of letters on the board:

“I really appreciate the opportunity to design my first promodel. So those tags that are all over the board, are my creation. They’re kind of inspired by Brazilian graffiti type letters, but they're not the classic Pichação letters. It’s more mixed with some European style graffiti letters as well. I developed these type of letters of the years, just by gettin inspired by tags I like.”

About the meaning of the tags:

“I threw up my crew, my gang you know: Aitsch and Parabolic. Parabolic is like our crew from Barcelona. Aitsch is from Zurich, Switzerland, that’s the homies that I grew up with. Forever in my heart, know what I’m saying. Basically like 25 homies or more, bunch of skaters.

And then Parabolic is our newer thing with Luis Beltran (filmer) and a lot of homies from Barcelona, bunch of homies from Brazil too.
And we’re about to bring out a video. I was just like yup that’s what I always like to write. So it was just natural for me to throw that in, like that. And then of course we got the four M’s, the 4M's: mission, motivation, mindset, movement. That’s the whole spirit behind 4M skateboards."
