The world needs more skaters, let's go!
With the mission to make better skate products for a reasonable price, and with the possibility to replace parts of the board with longer lasting materials, the skateovation brand was born in Stockholm in 2021.
In the middle of the dull pandemic, the Swedish entrepreneur and skater Lisa Thorén set out to bring some much-needed joy back into the world. She was well aware of the challenge: expensive decks that wear out too fast. With her skater homies behind her and a strong passion to improve things, she took action. Today skateovation is a tight-knit crew of boundary-breaking skaters who live and breathe the streets. The general manager in Brazil, Renan Castagnaro, has his deep roots in the Brazilian skateboard industry.
Now in 2025 we’re also building a skate hub that’s bold, real, and straight out of Europe, delivering top-tier skate hardgoods and enough stoke to keep you rolling all year. Our decks are built to eat pavement and survive slams. We make dope, durable, and affordable skate gear that make skating more fun.
We are Stockholm based, but riding with our brothers and sisters in São Paulo, we connect scenes across continents. We want every skater to be able to unleash their inner shredder.
That's why we push innovation to create better skate gear so more people can afford a world-class setup. With focus on skate and innovation we hope to contribute to a more joyful skate scene.
